SANKI has no accounts, no ads, and no bank connections. The app never moves or touches real money; it only keeps the notes you write in it. Here is everything it touches and why.

What stays on your phone

Your goal's name, the amounts you log, the things you walk away from, your reminders, and the name of your witness (if you choose one) are stored on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere by the app.

Anonymous usage counts

The app sends a small number of anonymous usage events (for example: a skip was logged, a card was rendered). These carry a random ID created on your device and no amounts' owner, no goal names, no personal details. We use them only to see which parts of the app people use. The service that stores these events is PostHog.

Sharing

Receipts, plaques, and witness cards are images the app draws on your device. They leave your phone only when you share them yourself, through the standard iOS share sheet.

Notifications

Reminders and the weekly witness knock are scheduled locally on your device. There is no server sending you anything.

What the app does not do

No ads. No ad networks. No tracking across other apps or websites. No selling of data. No accounts, no bank connections, no contact lists, no location.
